The leading bus and coach representative body, the Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland (CTTC) has submitted a comprehensive pre-Budget 2025 proposal to the Department of Finance, highlighting critical measures to support the sector in reducing national carbon emissions and enhancing public transport infrastructure.
At a joint sitting of the Oireachtas Transport committee on Wednesday 8th May, the leading representative body for commercial coach and bus operators in Ireland, The Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland (CTTC) highlighted their serious concerns around drop off facilities and sufficient traffic management plans at major events this summer.  
If you are not carrying out international transport these retrofit dates do not apply, however if you transit through Northern Ireland they will apply.

The report, they say, provides some clarity for parents, schools and operators.
